Smoky Mountain Fan Fest... July 31st-August 1st, 2021... Gatlinburg, TN!

First, we want to say thank you to the city of Newport, and all those who helped us make this past year possible. It was a dream to bring a convention to Newport, and you all made it possible... unfortunately, our vision of making it annual in our hometown, just couldn’t happen. Not only was our venue on the small side this year, but it was the largest we could come across, and we can not possibly guarantee it is even available for 2021. We did not have the options, and we were forced to look elsewhere. We will forever be grateful for Newport’s support, and we hope we still see plenty of our friends at our shows in the future! We love you all very much!

Now, as for the future of Smoky Mountain Fan Fest, Gatlinburg is the PERFECT fit! Gatlinburg is still very close to our home, and we love that. The convention center is also very large, and gives us room to do things we really need to do! We will have over 100 vendor spaces, we will have a better stage area for our charity auction and our cosplay contest, we will have professional photo ops, we will have Q&A panels, plenty of bathrooms, more space for our guests to feel comfortable, and most importantly... air conditioning!

This convention will be the first of its kind in Gatlinburg, and they have already been very welcoming to us. They want us to grow with them, and with the city. We have already locked in future years with them.. The future for Smoky Mountain Fan Fest is bright!

For those of you who travel in for conventions, you won’t find a better destination vacation than Gatlinburg! Amazing hotels and resorts, beautiful scenery, excellent shopping, and restaurants, with very fun nightlife. Your trip to Smoky Mountain Fan Fest can be an ultimate get away with something for the entire family!

We’ve got our dates locked in! We’ve got our location locked in! Now, time to get to work on building an amazing guestlist for 2021! We will have some of our local friends back, we will have some of our most popular guests from 2020 back, but we are adding even more big guests for 2021! Hope you guys are ready...

Vendor spacing will all launch in the upcoming weeks! We will keep you all posted! Let’s take this next step together because, without you all, the first step never would have happened!
